What about the tailpiece. Internet lore says Larry's guitar was originally a trapeze, and he retrofitted the stop tail piece which was not the same distance as production. Is this true? Also does his guitar have 50's style wiring or modern? Does he use a treble bleed or not? Thanks for the great videos!

Hello Rick,
I have a Gibson Custom Mr.335 and i love it ..... it spanks all my other guitars including a Custom Shop 50th anniversary ..... my question is - as i do not have a Dumble is there a suggestion for type of overdrive pedal?
I am using a Fulltone Drive 2 currently, it is great, just wondering if Larry has a preference for anything else.
thanks so much
Vernon

Fr Rick Wheeler;
I own several guitarsthat are Epiphone; dot delux, Sheraton, and a Joe pass model
My amps are a fender delux (hot rod), and a Hartke 150.
I like the combination of the Dot in the Hartke, but would like toget the Delux into themix also. What would be an optimum setting for that amp, and for the 335 types I have.

Been trying to figure that out too. How does he set his pickups? Standard I guess is 3/16ths and 1/8 for a 335.

HI, I have one question. Please let me know a measurement between a pickup and string?
